Danielle Jones

Ed.S., LPC, NCC

Hi, I'm Danielle, thanks for stopping by! I'm the owner of Happy Hearts Counseling and have spent over 15 years working with clients across the life span to overcome a variety of emotional, social, and behavioral challenges. I absolutely love what I do!  I see adults who are seeking support as they navigate life's many hurdles. I work with overwhelmed teens as they launch into young adulthood. And I help couples who are struggling to find connection, understanding, and forgiveness.

I have a high level of success working with clients suffering from anxiety and depression related to transition and change - such as: moving, preparing for college, entering the work force, changing careers, and new or ending relationships.

Additionally, I have spent many years studying the patterns and impact of Personality Disorders, particularly Narcissism.  And I have a special passion for helping survivors of narcissistic abuse find their voice and inner strength again.

Kathryn Pugh

MA, LPC, NCC

Hi! I'm Kathryn! I have been in counseling for 10 years, supporting people of all ages as they work to make positive changes and create the life they want. My favorite quote is: "If you keep doing what you're doing, you'll keep getting what you're getting." If you're looking at your family, kids, job, or your life overall, feeling like something has to change, I want to help!

I truly love what I do and have especially seen success with individuals who find their lives negatively affected by anxiety. This can manifest as Obsessive Compulsive behaviors, school or work avoidance, intrusive thoughts, and physical evidence of anxiety within a body. In addition to this, I have been successful in supporting families as they navigate transitional times such as a divorce, co-parenting, or simply a transitional stage of life like starting a new school, welcoming a new family member, or moving to a new place.

Coming to counseling; being willing to look inward and make truly meaningful, lasting change is difficult and can bring up a lot of emotions. You are taking the first step by exploring options right now! I would be honored to be there with you and provide support for you or your family members throughout this process of growth and healing.
